Give sheep and goats the credit they deserve.
Co. Cork councillor Audrey Buckley has come up with a unique way to deal with an overgrown local graveyard.
Buckley let sheep and goats loose in a cemetery at Templebreedy Church in Crosshaven.
The animals have been a useful asset to locals, as they have chewed away at the long grass covering the graves.
The land is made up of delicate headstones that could be damaged by normal garden machinery.

Happy St.Patricks Day.
Crosshaven Volunteers have done a fantastic job
Within the village, Lighting,Bunting and even the sheep at Templebreedy got in on the act.
No parades but we can enjoy the sunshine and a nice walk.#5kmfromhome #volunteersmakeadifference pic.twitter.com/ClSeJxwC5R— Audrey Buckley (@AudreyBuckleyFF) March 17, 2021
The goats and sheep have helped uncover some old graves, with one dating back as far as 1872.
Volunteers have helped to restore the grounds at Templebreedy Church for several years.
The heroic animals, who are taking part in what they call 'goatscaping', are pillars of the community now.
