You will never be able to unsee this.
TD Michael Healy-Rae has released an election song ahead of the General Election 2020 and it's certainly something for the history books.
Following the rise in the charts of Come Out Ye Black & Tans by The Wolfe Tones in recent weeks, the independent TD from County Kerry has adapted his campaign song to the tune of the rebel song.
Taking to social media, Healy-Rae shared a video which shows him walking around his constituency, speaking to voters and visiting Dail Eireann:
The song includes lyrics such as:
"Get out anyway you can and vote for the main man. It's Michael Healy-Rae, he's from Kilgarvan.
"You see how Healy-Rae will work both night and day. For the Kingdom, for the country in Dail Éireann."
I don't know why...but this song has been stuck since last week.... well here it is, our election song ?
?"?Come Out & Vote Michael Healy-Rae ?"?

The original track recently reached the number one spot in both the Ireland and UK iTunes charts. Michael Healy-Rae took a seat in the Dail in 2011 and in 2016 he was re-elected to represent Kerry.
It's reported that his brother Danny is also hoping for re-election.
