Google's parent company is reportedly working on so-called mechanical waiters.
Google is working on combining technology to create robots that can help fetch snacks for its staff.
The tech giant's parent company, Alphabet Inc., is developing mechanical waiters that combine the eyes and arms of physical robots with the knowledge and conversation skills of virtual chatbots.
According to Reuters, reporters recently got to see the new Google bots operating.
They are able to carry out a few dozen simple tasks, and the company insists that it is being responsible in its development of them.
However they are not yet ready for sale.
