They say pasta is the go to before a big game, but that's not the case with this GAA club..
St Michael's GFC are based out of Carlanstown in Meath.
Their ladies team were intermediate champions in 2018 and are one of many around the country enjoying being back on the pitch again.
As the weather has been kind in the east as of late, the games have been flowing.
St Michael's star Laura Halpin was kindly rewarded for her efforts after playing a blinder in three games last week.
That's right, three games. You wouldn't see that level of activity in the Euros.
No doubt Laura's family were delighted to see a bag of spuds arrive home after the week had ended.
There'll be spuds for breakfast, lunch and dinner now in the Halpin household.
St Michael's GFC are supporting a local brand in JC Sheridan potatoes in the photo above. Not a McCain's oven chip in site. The proper stuff.
We wish Laura and her St Michael's teammates all the best in the games this summer, and hopefully the spuds will give them an extra edge in the championship.
