Scientists say playing the flute could be less risky than talking - when it comes to spreading Covid-19.
They measured the tiny liquid droplets spread by musicians playing 13 different instruments and compared them to people speaking or singing.
And while, it may not immediately seem like that has much to do with anything, it could be vital in developing a roadmap to reopen the performing arts industries.
Nine musicians played 13 woodwind and brass instruments in an operating theater without the presence of other background particles.
The results show a potential light at the end of the tunnel for musicians eager to get back to work.
