Sometimes life isn't ferret all
A former RAF airman quit his job and decided to travel the world with his trusty companion Bandit.
Charlie Hammerton quit his role in the RAF after the deaths of several family members.
Speaking to The Hub Charlie said "I was going through a real rough time with my mental health, couple of suicide attempts and things like that.
"I had a rough upbringing as a teenager. I then decided that when my mom passed away I was going to walk across Hadrian's Wall with Bandit the ferret, who was helping me go through these dark times."
Charlie and Bandit have been many adventures including skateboarding across London for charity.
Speaking about Bandit, Charlie said: "Bandit came to me in about 2015. I wanted a cat or a dog in the block, but we weren't allowed to have them, but we could keep small animals.
I thought I'd get away with Bandit being a small animal, he's just a little bit smaller than a cat. "
Charlie revealed that one of his favourite trips with Bandit was to the Artic Circle.
The 25 year-old said he has no regrets about quitting his job, saying " I'm so glad that I had that weird small voice in my head that said, "Quit your job, run away."
