"The hair will start to grow back in a few days"
The closure of the barbers during the Covid-19 crisis has lead to men attempting to cut their own hair, One farmer has taken it up a level.
Donie Anderson from Dublin has gone viral after posting a video of himself cutting his hair with a pair of sheep shears.
The sheep farmer claims it's not because of the closure of barbers and that he usually cuts his hair with the shears.
The video, which has over 1 million views, shows Donie chopping his locks while saying "That's the last time that'll blow in the wind for a while."
BreakingNews.ie reported that the 62 year-old farm didn't understand why everyone was making a fuss.
Donie said:"I normally shear it at Christmas but there were bad colds around then and I was to be an extra in a local drama of The Field so I left it.
"The weather was warm today so I cut it, using the phone screen as a mirror. It's normally a bit neater.
"Sure the shears are as good as any and the hair will start to grow back in a few days anyway."
