The container ship wedged across the Suez Canal in Egypt has been fully re-floated.

'A clear gap' has opened in the canal as efforts continue to move the vessel which has blocked it for nearly a week.

Video showed the stern of the gigantic Ever Given ship swing towards the canal bank.

We've been kept in the loop by istheshipstillstuck.com, which changed it's message from a straight 'yes' to a 'sort of?'

And now finally the answer is - NO! The ship is no longer stuck!

It comes following intensive efforts to push and pull it with 10 tug boats and vacuum up sand with several dredgers at high tide.

The canal with now reopen to traffic.
