Beware the inappropriate emoji!
(Source: Pixabay)Emojis are said to be causing confusion in some offices, as different generations have different meanings for them.
A survey of 9,500 employees has found young workers see the winky face as a flirty emoji while older people see it as a light way of poking fun.
About a third of under-40s think the peach emoji is not suitable for the office, even though 59 per cent of baby-boomers have no idea it has a hidden meaning.
The research was conducted by Slack and Duolingo to coincide with World Emoji Day.
