He was arrested for fraudulent misrepresentation.

A man who dressed up as his mother and tried to take a driving test on her behalf has been arrested in Brazil.

Heitor Márcio Schiave wore a stuffed bra, floral top, skirt, earrings, and a handbag in an attempt to fool the examiners.

The 43 year old took the drastic action after his mother failed her driving test three times.

Initially his plan appeared to be paying off as he drove around Nova Mutum Paraná, but suspicions were soon raised that the woman in the driving seat was not the woman on "her" ID.

The police were called and he was arrested at the driving school for fraud and misuse of someone's identity.

"He's already confessed. He confessed that he wasn't the woman in question but the son, her son who was trying to pass as his mum so that she would be able to pass this practical driving test," the instructor told local media.
