Too much?

Being a child/teenager is great for plenty of reasons.

And the main one we miss in adulthood is having our dinner made for us.

Thinking back, we reckon we didn't respect the call for dinner as much as we should have...

Leaving our poor parents' vocal chords exhausted as we delay going down to the dinner table because we're in the middle of something.

Well, one parent says 'no more' to shouting at her children when she needs them.

TikTok user @arinsolange decided to buy doorbells, and instal them in her each of her children's bedrooms.

@arinsolange There has never been a better #momhack - these little $15 doorbells have made our house so much more pleasant! Linked on my Amazon under ‘home favorites’ #fyp #momsoftiktok ♬ original sound - Arin Jura

She uses them to call them for dinner, and even in the morning to tell them to get downstairs.

The video has racked up over 5 million views, with some praising the idea:

Madison says, "My mom just hit the ceiling with the broom handle this is so cool".

While another has already tried out the trick, Danielle says, "We bought a bell at a thrift store for five dollars. Best five dollars I’ve ever spent. They all come running when I ring the bell".

However, some others don't think it would work too well in their house:

Caitlin Moss says, "my kids would take batteries out and I'd be pushing that button with some fierce rage".

What do you reckon? Would this have worked in your house?
