It's always interesting to get an outsider's take on Ireland.
How do they perceive us ? Do they recognise the subtle differences that make counties unique?
It turns out they do!
Dublin-based American comedian Bill Conry has produced a series of TikToks comparing Irish counties and US states and it's an ... interesting interpretation.

He starts off with Dublin, which compares best to New York in his opinion.
"Residents of both places feel like they live in the centre of the universe and anyone not from there is a back-country hillbilly" OK, accurate.
Bill moves on to Donegal being the Florida of Ireland.
"They're both tucked away in a corner. There's lots of wild people up there who love to party and there's tons of bizarre stories that come out of both places".
And finally - Cavan, which apparently is just like Utah.
"That's because Utah has the highest charitable giving rate of any US state and the people of Cavan are known for their generosity".
We're not going to comment on that one.
