A viral video which has emerged from Brakpan, in South Africa which shows two brave Doberman Pinscher's charging at criminals who were robbing their owner at gunpoint.
In the scary clip, Loodewyk De Jager can be seen returning after he withdrew his monthly salary from the bank, according to Metro.
Suddenly, he is confronted by two thieves who pull him from the car at gunpoint.
Unaware of what is unfolding, Loodewyk's granddaughter opens the gate to let him inside, before realising what is transpiring and trying to close it again.
Before she could, Niki and Duiwel escaped and charged at the attackers.

Niki was sadly shot but remarkably the bullet missed all of her vital organs, and she needed just 14 stitches
“She saved my life," Mr De Jager told the The Mirror. "They would have shot me, they told me they were going to shoot me.
"Niki is doing well," he added. "She is strong and full of energy.
"We are very relieved that she only needed stitches and that there was no additional internal injuries. We are so thankful to God that we all came out if this alive."
