Commuters travelling to Heuston Station in Dublin saw something rather unusual today, when a dog was seen travelling solo on the train.
The dog reportedly hopped on at Sallins, Co Kildare and rode the rails all the way to the end of the line at Heuston Station in Dublin.
The travelling pup is currently under the watchful eye of Iarnród Éireann staff, as they plan out just where he'd like to travel too next.
Our #LostDog is sleeping soundly in #Heuston right now but we're still hoping to reunite him with his owner. Please RT #lostpets #lostandfoundpets https://t.co/W3vKD4HD7B pic.twitter.com/VWbg4VPfHD

We hope he enjoyed his journey! And that his owners get in touch soon.
