Police in Florida have arrested a man after he attempted to quarantine in a closed Disney World island.
The 42-year-old man claims to have been roaming around the island since Monday and described the theme park as a “tropical paradise.”
Orange County police arrested Richard McGuire on Disney's Discovery Island on Thursday.
McGuire told authorities that he never heard any of the police searching for him despite deputies on foot, boat and helicopter.
He told police that he was unaware that the island was a restricted area even with numerous "no trespassing" signs placed around the park.
According to apnews.com, the arrest report said “Richard stated that he was unaware of that and that it looked like a tropical paradise,”
