A teacher has gone viral on Facebook, after conducting an experiment with her class to prove the impact germs can have on food.
In order to show how important it is to keep their hands clean during flue season, the teacher took five slices of bread and put them in five different bags in various states of dirty-hand contamination.
One slice was untouched, one was touched with hands that had been washed with soap and water, one with hands that had been cleaned with a hand sanitiser, one with dirty hands and the last slice had been rubbed on the laptops the class uses.
Then, they just waited for the mould to grow.
And the results were...horrifying.
The untouched slice of bread showed no signs of contamination and the one touched with hands washed with soap and water was fairly clean.
The rest however... they are a testament to keeping your hands as clean as possible before touching any food.
Gross. Well, we're off to wash our hands.
