''Get legal advice, this is harassment, slander, and defamation.''
A Reddit user has taken to the relationships section of the website to ask for advice, after she discovered her two housemates had created a cruel podcast mocking her.
The woman, only identified by her user name jaenerys99, said the housemates use the podcast to dish about how much they can't stand her and even make fun of her mental health issues.
And to make matters worse the pair were using her real name and sharing private information that she had told them in confidence.
The university student said she made the discovery when she stumbled across a fanmail postcard sent to the pair from their friend who was away at a camp.
''On it described how the podcast update 'made her day', and described how she laughed at the parts about info pertaining to my eating disorder, mental health, and how they think my new SO (24M) is '...interesting...' (aka they think he's awkward),' she explained.
''Not only is it incredibly uncomfortable to think how they're essentially making my life a reality TV show, but the fact that they are sharing info that they promised to keep secret (i.e. my eating disorder and mental health issues) is really distressing.''
''I hear them gossip about me when in adjacent rooms''.
The Reddit user admitted that her roommates have been treating her badly for some time now, but she never thought they would go so far as to publicly humiliate her.
''I hear them gossip about me when in adjacent rooms,'' she wrote, ''but I wouldn't have expected a full blown f*****g podcast about my quirks and f**k ups...
''They're the type to watch a lot of dating reality TV and watch gossipy popular YouTubers, so it makes sense to me that they are the epitome of drama queens... however this really feels like crossing a line.''
Because the story is so out there, a lot of redditors questioned whether the woman was making it all up, however she insists it's all true.
''Not a troll post I promise,'' she responded to someone who told her she should leave her apartment as soon as possible.
''I'm just unsure of how the move out will go. We are moving to a new apartment in a few weeks and I have the master bedroom and also handle the apartment gas/electricity bill under my name.
''I'm sure that's the only reason they are still dragging me along; that a large chunk of the apartment shared belongings are mine, and that losing me in the lease would cost them a lot of money...''
''Move out ASAP''.
The woman went on to explain in the comments that she'd been searching for the podcast, however hadn't had any luck finding it.
A few weeks ago, the Reddit user shared that someone had created a fake LinkedIn profile featuring her real name, false information about her college major and test scores, and a distorted photo to make her 'look ugly.'
One commenter deduced that her roommates had to be the ones behind it.
''I looked at your post history and I can pretty much guarantee you they are responsible for the LinkedIn fake profile too. I'd move out if I were you,'' the person wrote.
''If this isn't a troll post, that's the scariest 'bad roommate' situation I've ever heard. Move out, ASAP,'' another added.
Some insisted that she take legal action against them.
''Really simple, grab the fanmail, go see a lawyer, and draft a Cease & Desist Order, the sooner the better. And here's why I say that. Even if they didn't use your name directly, they gave our their address,'' one person pointed out.
''Hijack. No lawyer. Get legal advice, this is harassment, slander, and defamation,'' someone else commented.
