Ever get a 'meal' as stingy as this in your canteen?
A worker's won some hefty compensation after a row over a measly portion of nuggets resulted in him being fired.
Steven Smith from Scotland went to his work canteen for lunch and paid £1.99 for a portion of chicken nuggets and was left reeling when he was presented with three measly bits of chicken.
After complaining about the portion, the dinner lady responded than another helping would cost an extra 99p.
Tyla reports he was 'shocked' and 'disillusioned' by the development, a row ensued, Steven refused to pay for the nugs and stormed off.
"Following the row, the woman behind the counter said she was "almost afraid to come into work" and Steven was then sacked for gross misconduct and "violent" behaviour" reports Tyla.
An investigation into Steven's sacking has concluded that the move was unfair as company bosses failed to properly investigate the matter first.
Steven is now to be awarded £840 for unfair dismissal, £3,333.60 as compensation for the situation and £1,008 for his notice pay and the wrongful dismissal.
Quite a ruckus of a few nuggies, don't ya think?
