Miley from Vancouver,Washington was under the impression she was being hygienic during the Covid-19 pandemic by purchasing a bar of soap.
Unfortunately, the ‘bar of soap’ was actually a block of cheddar cheese.
Miley took to Reddit to share her story of how a drunken midnight snack ended up being left out of the fridge and to be mistaken for soap.
She wanted to make clear in her defence that she does keep a yellow bar of soap near where the block of cheese had been left.
Miley said: "Just realised my soap wasn’t working because it’s literally a block of cheese,”
“I use a liquid soap for the dishes, bar soap like this is gentler on my hands after I do chores if that makes any sense.”
“It was a couple days of 'Why isn’t this foaming?!'
"I come to realise it was a dried-out square of Tillamook sharp cheddar cheese.
“I suspect I left it out when I was intoxicated and just forgot.”
Reddit users had reactions to the mishap were mixed with user sympathising with Miley.
However, most found the idea of washing your hands with cheese ridiculous.
