The Irish health system has issues, there is no denying.
But the USA's profit-driven format has led to people ending up with some wild medical bills that can amount to more than tens of thousands of dollars.
There's a charge for everything, as it turns out, even your emotions!
The woman who posted the charge after the procedure to remove a mole has left people confused about whether this is real or not.
However, unfortunately it is. According to the University of Washington's school of Psychiatry and Behavioural Science:
"CPT Code 96127 (brief emotional /behavioral assessment) can be billed for a variety of screening tools, including the PHQ-9 for depression, as well as other standardized screens for ADHD, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, suicide risk"

It looks like the patient had a bit of an emotional reaction to the pain of having the mole removed, and you bet they put that straight down on the bill!
It’s real ??

$2.20 seems like a bargain for emotional release, really.
