It's not been a good press day for one hospitality company...
Holiday village Center Parcs in the UK has backtracked from saying residents would be kicked out during the British Queen's funeral.
Well that’s bloody stupid. Why would you kick people out just for them to return the day after? Ridiculous process! Let your PAYING customers stay, just shut the restaurants and activities if you must.

They also said holidaymakers would be locked in their lodges for the day - but after backlash, it seems the company reconsidered and now says they'll be allowed walk around.
Hi Lys
We recognise leaving the village for one night is an inconvenience, we have listened and made the decision to allow guests to remain on village on Monday, however, the village will still be closed, so guests will need to remain in their lodges.
Thanks, Amy

It's been a bit of a nightmare, all in all:
Fair to say Center Parcs have had an absolute mare here. pic.twitter.com/3G1gqKqYGE

In other marks of respect for the death of Elizabeth - British Cycling a body which promotes cycling in the UK is recommending not going for a bike ride on the day of the funeral in case it's disrespectful.
And Guinea Pig Awareness week has been pushed back by two weeks as a mark of respect.
