Ok, so here's a quick recap for anyone who isn't familiar with this latest saga.
M&S sell a well known and much loved caterpillar-shaped chocolate cake known as 'Colin the Caterpillar'.
Although Colin is referred to on the M&S website as 'the original and the best' - he's not the only chocolate caterpillar on the market.
In fact, it recently came to light that competitor Aldi stock a cake which bares a striking resemblance to Colin, named Cuthbert.

M&S have now decided to take legal action against Aldi over Cuthbert and Colin's very similar appearance.
It's expected to go something like this:
M&S - That’s our Colin the Caterpillar!!!
Aldi- No, this is Cuthbert!!

Meanwhile, Aldi have also drawn attention to the fact that they're not the shop that sells whimsical caterpillar cakes.
