A woman has gone viral on TikTok after she discovered the "proper" way to use the handles on the inside of the car just above the windows.
Jess, who goes by the username @jmac8781 on TikTok, often posts life hacks and facts on the app. However, she was really stumped when she discovered that the interior car handles could be even more practical.
Her video is a stitch of another video. In the clip, you can see a person pulling the handle down. Inside that handle is a small catch which she flicks on to make it more sturdy. This, in turn, makes it easier to hang things like handbags or coat hangers there.

She shared the trick with her 263,000 followers on TikTok and since it was posted, it's been viewed over 1.4 million times.
However, indy100.com reports that the hack doesn't work on all cars - just some makes and models.
