It's 7 years since the five-in-a-row fiasco.
Garth Brooks is reportedly close to agreeing a deal for three gigs in Dublin next September.
He'll apparently play the 9th, 10th and 11th of September 2022
However it remains to be seen if there's another rush for tickets, as it's now seven years after the infamous 'five in a row fiasco.'

Garth Brooks' comeback tour in 2014 originally included two nights at Croke Park.
That quickly became three nights, and later five, with a whopping 400,000 tickets sold.
But, Dublin City Council refused a license for two of those five gigs.
Garth Brooks hit back saying it was five or nothing, and nothing it was as all the gigs were pulled.
Here’s an absolutely fucking mind boggling figure but more people had Garth Brooks tickets in Ireland than have gotten Covid. You’re statistically more likely to know someone that had one than had Covid. And a fucking rake of people had Covid. https://t.co/IJ20IF7bFp

It's also being reported that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are being earmarked for Croke Park in April.
While 'other venues' around the country are apparently being looked at for a possible Ed Sheeran gig too.
