"Make choices that highlight your favourite physical attributes rather than trying to mask the ones you dislike."

A bride-to-be's demanding set of dress code requirements for wedding guests has drawn criticism, after it was shared on Facebook

The 'styling guidelines' which were shared by one of the invitees, asks guests heading to the ceremony to follow the 'soft, romantic, sensual yet elegant theme'.

According to the post, all outfits and accessories must be run by the bride before the wedding by emailing or texting her a picture.

The message states: "Make choices that highlight your favourite physical attributes rather than trying to mask the ones you dislike."

It asks that all dresses be floor-length - while sleeves, lace and print designs are banned.

When it comes to shoes, they must be open-toed heels between three and four inches.

There's even a friendly reminder that if guests are thinking of taking a painkiller to help with the heels, they should remember: "that when combined with alcohol, you get drunk 30% faster".

Moving on the to the 'beauty' section and the bride requires guests to have full makeup with lashes and hair to be down, half up or in a stylish ponytail with loose curls, adding: "No accessories, braids or beachy/bohemian hair."

Jewellery is confined to "delicate accents in metals, stones and refined shells", with no facial piercings or bulky pieces allowed.

After telling guests they must bring a phone charger in their evening bag, it adds: "You will be in photos, on film, and appear on social media accounts of family members, friends, the hotel, or other vendors."

Yikes.
