There is little that excites a dog more than finding out it's time for a walk
There are very few dogs out there that don't become familiar with the word 'walk' during their lives.
And even fewer are the dogs that don't go absolutely ballistic if the word is so much as whispered in their direction.
One pup from Offaly got a fright after his enthusiasm resulted in a bit of a headache.
Brownie, was so excited for his outing, he didn't even wait for his owner Aideen to open the boot of the car before he attempted to jump in.

Speaking to the Independent, Aideen confirmed that the video is a few months old and unfortunately, Brownie is no longer with us due to an unrelated incident.
But she said the clip brings back very happy memories.
"He always knew when he heard the boot opening that he was going for a walk. He would be absolutely ecstatic." she said.
