This isn't how he'd pictured things going.
A couple's romantic marriage proposal has gone viral after it quickly descended into complete mayhem.
In the clip, an unnamed man can be seen making his way towards a parked, next to another boat which his fiancee is sitting on.
He then pulls his fiancee's boat closer to him and pops the question - and it appears as though she said yes.
But, amid all the excitement the boat then suddenly accelerates forward.

Shocked, thewoman sticks out her leg for balance, inadvertently clipping the man, sending him flying into the water.
The video was shared by the daughter of one of the woman's friends, who posted it on TikTok with the caption: "Proposal gone wrong."
She also explained in the video: "My mom's friend got proposed to today and just wait for it..."
The footage has racked up more than two million views on TikTok...here's hoping their marriage (if she did actually say yes) is a little less dramatic than the proposal.
