Yusaku Maezawa is headling to the moon in 2023 on SpaceX's first tourist flight, and he wants to take a date.
Yusaku Maezawa, the Japanese billionaire named by Elon Musk as the first passenger that SpaceX will send to The Moon, has announced that he'll be holding a contest to find someone to take with him as a "life partner".
The 44-year-old is going to become the first civilian passenger to take a journey around the Earth's only natural satellite in 2023 on SpaceX's Starship rocket.
And the recently single entrepreneur is looking for someone to take with him. “I’m sure I’ve been able to acquire my share of money, social status, and fame along the way,” he wrote on his website.
“But now I’m restarting my life. I’m 44 now. As feelings of loneliness and emptiness slowly begin to surge upon me, there’s one thing that I think about: Continuing to love one woman. I want to find a ‘life partner’. With that future partner of mine, I want to shout our love and world peace from outer space.”

It's a serious offer, isn't it?
First off, you have to be a woman who is single and over the age of 20 and obviously have an interest in jetting off to space.
If you fit the bill, then you've got until January 17 to sign up.
Maezawa will be making the final decision on who will accompany him into orbit by the end of March.
