A 17 year old from California has escaped major injury after fighting off a Black Bear that was attacking her dogs.
Footage from Hailey Morinico's security system captured the 68 kilo bear walking along the boundary wall when the dogs began barking at it.
One of the smaller pets was lifted up off the ground, which prompted Hailey to run at the animal, to shove it off the wall.
The teenager told NBC News that she sprained her finger during the incident.
