If you grew up in the 90s or 00s, you're probably familiar with Barney the Dinosaur.
He was purple, he sang songs and had a few sidekicks like BJ and Baby Bop.
But did you know there was a 'dark side' to the famous kids TV show? That's what is set to be revealed in a new docu-series about the classic children's character.
E! News reports that the new series will air on Peacock and will be called 'I Love You, You Hate Me'. Take a look at the trailer here:
The series will follow "the rise and fall of Barney the Dinosaur's furious backlash—and what it says about the human need to hate".
According to the trailer, the series will focus on the hate that surrounded the TV show including destroying merchandise and even death threats towards the show's performers, crew and their families.
It's set to air on October 12th.
