Baby Pria was delivered safe and sound at 7lbs, 10oz.
Earlier in the week Storm Barra caused major disruption with cancelled transport, fallen trees and school closures.
However, for one new mum in Dublin it was a day she'll never forget for a different reason.
Danielle Murphy went into labour at home, two days ahead of schedule.
Thankfully members of the Dublin Fire Brigade in Tallaght were on hand to help as Storm Barra hit on Tuesday night.
As #StormBarra impacted Dublin last night, firefighter/paramedics from Tallaght fire station were called to a baby in a big hurry.
They assisted Mum with the delivery of a healthy baby girl. Mum and baby Pria are doing well ? #DFBaby pic.twitter.com/0ReDbjRVjB

Mum Danielle said; “We’ve decided Storm is going to be her middle name."
She also praised the Fire Brigade:
“The Fire Brigade men came in with great humour, they were singing and introducing themselves."
