That's one way to make an impact.
A bride read out her cheating fiance's texts instead of her vows on their wedding day.
A woman who only wanted to be known as 'Casey' told female website Whimm that she found out her other half was cheating just hours before they were due to tie the knot.
She told the site that herself and her partner 'Alex' were together for six years and that she really felt that he was "The One".
However, the night before their big day she got a message in her phone from an unknown number. The message contained a number of screenshots and simply said, “I wouldn’t marry him. Will you?”
She went on to tell the website about the screenshots:
"The screenshots were of conversations between my husband-to-be and another woman."
"Loads of them, including selfies of the pair. She was the opposite of me. I’m blonde and fair, and this unknown woman had dark hair and olive skin."
"The texts were dated from months to only days before. My brain simply could not compute WTF was going on. There was no questioning the legitimacy of these messages. I just knew."
She broke into tears as her friends urged her to call him immediately to put the wedding off. However, she decided not to saying "But I loved Alex. I wanted to marry Alex tomorrow. I was too shocked and sad to be angry. I didn’t call him."
The next morning, she told those close to her of her plan to publicly shame him and soon after she walked up the aisle, she announced:
“There will be no wedding today,
“It seems Alex is not who I thought he was.”
The bride then says she read out every single message that was sent to her. Her fiance left the church and the bride told the congregation:
“I love all of you and as horrible as this is I’m glad you all are here. There will not be a wedding reception today, but instead, there will be a celebration of honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts.”
