Do you have any of these laying round the house?

They were the hot items of the 90s and now some of those nostalgic toys from our youth are in serious demand around the globe. With some people willing to pay top dollar for a slice of 90s nostalgia.

Here are six toys you could have laying around the house that could land you a small fortune:

Furby

The must have toy of the late 90s. Every kid wanted to get their hands on a talking Furby!

Value today: An original Furby in its box can bring in around €563.

Polly Pocket

After Mattel purchased the Polly Pocket brand in 1998, the original, smaller version of the toys have increased in value.

A sealed set or a single Crystal Ball could get you as much as €375 on eBay.

Not bad a toy that cost around a ten-er back in the day!

Finally found my beloved Polly Pockets. My mum and dad have been clearing out their garage and I had so much stuff. Old ringbinders filled with A-level and GCSE notes, padlocked diaries, a pot ocarina I used to play, loves letters from old boyfriends and notes passed to friends during classes. I have loved looking through it all, the photos and books. So many boxes filled with memories. I had worried I had lost my Polly Pockets but they were in the last box I sorted. So happy to have found them. I love them. Miniature worlds. Tiny people in little scenes. I have so many of them. They still bring me as much joy as they did when I was a child. Who else was Polly Pocket obsessed? . . . #sundayfunday #sunday #cleaningup #mariekondo #pollypocket #miniature #love #memories #childhoodmemories #garage #polly #tiny #dolls #ocarina #loveletters #gcse #oldboyfriend

Tamagotchi

The must have of the school playground.

And if for some reason you never opened yours an original Tamagotchi in its box then you might be looking at a handy €1900.

Pokémon cards

We all knew that one smug kid who managed to bag themselves a Charizard card.

And if they were lucky then, they're REALLY lucky now. A mint -condition Charizard Holo card, from the first edition of Pokémon released in 1999, can fetch more around €3100.
