Zeminar returnz for 2017
Where: Dublin’s RDS
When: October 10-12
The RDS will once again play host to the only major event dedicated to the future prosperity of Generation Z, when Zeminar ‘A life changing day for Generation Z’ makes its big return for 2017!
Zeminar is an education and well-being movement devoted to young people in the 15-20 age brackets. The aim of the event is to highlight and understand what really motivates young people in Ireland and provide them with an engaging experience, to assist them in expanding their interests and discover new passions in a highly interactive environment.
After it’s hugely successful maiden launch last year, this year’s Zeminar is set to reach new heights with over 120-exhibitors servicing an expected 20,000 attendees from all across the Country.
Guest speakers Blindboy, Doireann Garrihy and Credit Union Ambassadors the O’Donovan Brothers headline a stellar line up. Also featuring the likes of Dr. Harry Barry, Anna Geary, Riyadh Khalaf, Harry McCann, Gavan Hennigan, Prof. Donal O’Shea and more.
Damian Clarke, the founder of Zeminar told iRadio he and his team have been working on this year’s Zeminar 24/7, for almost 12-months.
‘’Since the day the last Zeminar ended in October last year, we’ve basically been working on this year’s event, Damian said.’’
‘’There’s a huge Buzz around health and well being at the moment, with a lot of corporate backing been thrown around, so it’s a really exciting time’’
Damian has been working with young people for years and identified a lack of engagement and discussion around the health and well being of Generation Z as the catalyst for Zeminar.
‘’We noticed there was a demand for this type of event, given there was nothing like this in Ireland, that devoted full focus to the health and well being of young people, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. It’s for everyone, he said.’’
‘’We have so many great speakers lined up this year, covering a really broad range of topics, everything from mental health, to cyber bullying to getting active, the quality is going to be extraordinary.’’
iRadio will be joining a host of influential companies at Zeminar 2017 including representatives from Google, PwC, ILCU, Virgin Media, Trinity College and many more.
Tickets to attend Zeminar are just €10 and can be purchased online at www.zeminar.ie, via email at [email protected] or by calling Damien on 0874 123 378.
