When Máirtín Farragher went bungee jumping in South Africa, he thought it would just be your standard jump off a bridge into a canyon.
The Mayo man was probably looking forward to a nice and relaxing 200-metre dive from the Blounkrans Bridge.
Sadly for thrillseeker Máirtín it would set his heartbeat racing when he realised his iPhone fell out of his pocket, into the wilderness below.
He posted the video of his jump from the highest commercial bungee jump in the world to Facebook yesterday, including the moment his beloved gadget went for a jump of its own.
Just wait for the second he realises what's happened.
What's worse is the phone seems to have had quite the backstory was well. "Remember that time I lost my phone in Italy and the undercover police got it back and all that jazz... Well unfortunately that famous phone is no more," Máirtín said in his status.
At least he did learn an (expensive) lesson though: "Don't do a bungee jump with a phone in your pocket," he posted.
