David Bowie is finally on his way to Mars
The future of rocket launches changed forever last night, when Elon Musk's SpaceX company successfully launched it's new Falcon Heavy Rocket.
The incredible 64-tonne interstellar vehicle has drawn global praise after executing a perfect launch from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
It's mission? To join an elliptical orbit around the sun, which will reach as far as Planet Mars.
It's cargo? Elon Musk's own old cherry-red Tesla sports car - with a space-suited mannequin strapped into the driver's seat.
Listening to the immortal David Bowie on a loop.
You can watch the incredible highlights of the mission here:

One of the most astounding things about the launch, was the fact all three boost stages - the lower segments of the rocket - returned to Earth to attempt controlled landings.
With two making contact with the ground virtually at the same time.

"That was epic," said Mr Musk. "That's probably the most exciting thing I've ever seen, literally."
Epic doesn't even begin to describe it...
In honour of this amazing achievement, please enjoy...
Well this man needs no introduction
