''She will never leave our side and will be in our hearts."

Hundreds of mourners gathered in Sligo today to say their final farewells to Natalia Karaczyn who died in tragic circumstances last weekend.

Understandably, her death has been described as "unspeakably painful" for her family and wider community.

The mass, which took place at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Sligo, saw a strong attendance  from the local Polish Community, who have rallied behind the grief stricken family.

At Friday’s ceremony, Natalia’s sister Magdalena praised her devotion to her three sons, who were seen to be comforted by their grandmother and other relatives outside of the service.

Speaking of the strong bond shared between the three boys, Magdalena said: "That is what they learned from their amazing mummy and daddy who created a loving home for them."

"I cannot describe how much I will miss my sister and how much the boys will miss their mummy. But I know she will never leave our side and will be in our hearts."
"Her dedication to her kids was exceptional. They had everything they needed and more," she said. "When you look at those three boys all you see is love. It comes from their mother."
A GoFundMe page has been set up in order to assist the Karaczyn family during this extremely difficult period.
Natalia's husband Rafal Karaczyn (32) appeared in court in Sligo Court Thursday charged with her murder.
