The owner definitely owes them a few beers...
Three incredibly brave customers have thwarted an armed robber in Dublin, as he attempted to rob the bar.
The Speaker Conolly pub at Firhouse Road in Dublin was closing for the evening last night, when a man in his 30's burst threatening staff with a shotgun, demanding money.
However three people who were drinking in the bar were having none of that...
They jumped the counter and tackled the would be assailant to the ground, before wresting the firearm from his hands.
An off duty detective who was in the bar then held the man down until police arrived and he was taken to Tallaght garda station.
It's believed the three gallant customers then finished their pints and headed off home...
Fair play to them!
