It will be a little easier to qualify for social housing from today.
Eligibility thresholds across the country have been increased by €5,000.
It brings the baseline threshold to 40,000 in Dublin and the North East of the country, 35,000 across Cork, Kerry, and the South West and 30,000 in Sligo, Donegal and the North West.
Housing Minister Darragh OBrien says it's the first time any changes have been made for a decade.
The new income limits are now in place across the country and all Local Authorities have updated their application forms and systems.
