Storm Fionn is set to batter Ireland tonight
Met Éireann has upgraded it's Status Yellow weather warning to Status Orange, as Storm Fionn approaches Irish shores.
The upgraded warning applies to Counties Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork and Kerry.
Storm Fionn, set to arrive this evening, is set to bring strong winds up to 65 to 80 km/h and gusts of up to 120 km/hr.

The warning remains in place until 3am Wednesday Morning.
In addition a weather advisory remains in place for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
This means there's an increased risk of flooding in coastal areas due to high or very high seas in the Atlantic Seaboard.
Meanwhile, a Status Yellow wind warning remains in place for Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Roscommon, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford.
