Mayo author Sally Rooney provided us with weeks of enjoyment with her second novel 'Normal People', which lit up our TV screens last year.
Rooney has released two books to date, with 'Conversations with Friends' the first of the two, brought out in 2017.
Her third piece of work is entitled 'Beautiful World, Where Are You'. Many fans are excited as a sneak peak has just been released.
In the latest edition of the New Yorker, there's a 9,000 word extract entitled 'unread messages' spoken by a 29-year-old by the name of Eileen.
Her background is in Irish literature and works for a literary magazine based in Dublin.
Rooney says Eileen has a "vague sense that life isn't unfolding as she imagined" and that there is conflict between "her desires and the world she actually has to live in."
'Beautiful World, Where Are You' is set for release on September 7th.
