The news is in relation to a breakthrough in it's alien-planet-hunting project.

An exciting teleconference detailing finds made by Nasa's Kepler telescope will take place later today.

It's believed the discovery is about a set of new, potentially habitable planets which have been discovered.

The satellite has been scouring space for habitable planets and proof of life, using Google's AI system.

'The discovery was made by researchers using machine learning from Google,' Nasa said in a statement earlier this week.

Kepler famously discovered 'Kepler 452-b' in 2014, a planet which has been described as 'Earth's Cousin.'

The teleconference can be live-streamed from Nasa's website at 6pm GMT (1pm U.S).
