Temperatures will plummet well below freezing every night this weekend
Layers, and lots of them.
That's what the doctor orders this weekend, as parts of Ireland prepare to shiver through temperatures as low as Minus-5 degrees.
The icy conditions can be blamed on the passing of Storm Eleanor, which forcefully tore through the Country earlier this week.
The latest forecasts from Met Éireann indicate temperatures will fall between zero and minus 2 degrees tonight, and won't be rising very far above that...
Saturday night will be particularly cold in the North West with the Celsius set to dip as low as minus 5-degrees with frost, ice and freezing fog in places.
Sunday will come with a bout of sunshine, but still expect a cold day of around 1 to 5-degrees.
Yikes.
Wrap up and get that fire roasting!
