The organisers of a pro-cannabis rally in the Phoenix Park yesterday say they have more events planned.
Over 300 cannabis users turned out for what they described as a "mass show of civil disobedience."
The Major Smoke Up at the Wellington Monument passed off without any trouble, while the Garda Press Office says it was unaware of the event.

Charlene Flynn was one of the organisers, and says the hundreds of people who gathered are not criminals:
"The crowd that's here - it's so mixed, different walks of life, different classes, different age brackets, everything. It's such a broad range of people that use it on a daily basis."
"So it's just about getting it out there, that we're not criminals. We're good people. We just want to be able to come together and congregate and be able to use a substance socially without being crinimalised for it."
