HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD WILL BE BASED ON A WEST END PLAY
Harry Potter fans can get seriously excited with the announcement that a new book is on the way.
Harry Potter and The Cursed Child will contain the script for the London play, set nineteen years after Harry and co left Hogwarts.
In the play, partly written by original author JK Rowling, a grown-up Harry with three children works in the Ministry of Magic, "grappling with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs".
In an unusual move, the West End production must be watched over two nights or a stwo separate performances in one day.
The book's due on shelves on 31 July.
It's described by its publishers as a "special rehearsal edition" which may be different to what audiences see on stage.
Naturally, fans have reacted in a calm and measured way.
