Tough week? Long week? Okay week but still happy it's over?

Either, way, well done. Here, have this picture of Dublin Zoo's new African painted dogs.

REPRO FREE Thursday, August 11th, 2016 Dublin Zoo welcomes the birth of seven African Painted Dogs Dublin Zoo is delighted to announce the birth of seven (!) African painted dogs. This brings the total number of African painted dogs at Dublin Zoo to eleven. Dublin Zoo’s new arrivals were born five weeks ago. In preparing for the birth, the female excavated a deep burrow in the ground and for weeks the animal care team could only guess what was happening. It is not until the new-borns open their eyes approximately three weeks after birth that she brings them to surface to the sunlight. To see the pack, visit the African Plains at Dublin Zoo. Dublin Zoo is open seven days a week from 9.30am to 6.00pm. Dublin Zoo announced yesterday that the pups were born five weeks ago.

However, they didn't emerge until three weeks after they were born.

Visitors can now catch them in the zoo's African Plains enclosure.

It was definitely worth the wait to see their fluffy little faces, though, right?

So remember no matter how bad, or good your week's been, there's nothing that the face of a newborn African painted dog can't make better.
