Ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch are falling out of favour as growing numbers choose wraps and sushi instead.
According to British supermarket Waitrose, lunchtime is now a more cosmopolitan affair with increasing numbers opting for new flavours and vegan options.
The Times of London says even the classic BLT is proving less popular these days.
In 2013, the ham and cheese sandwich was one of the bestsellers at Waitrose, but it has slipped out of the top ten lunch favourites.
Top of the list is now Prawn Mayonnaise sambos, followed by Cheese and Onion.
