This is 50% funny and 50% creepy
Donald Trump called Leo Varadkar yesterday to congratulate him on becoming Taoiseach.
This wasn't a private call, though, as the Oval Office was packed with reporters, who were there to witness the call.
They also got to witness the awkward 90 seconds the US president spent waiting for our country's leader to pick up.

RTÉ's Washington correspondent Caitriona Perry was part of the media scrum and was personally called up to the desk by Trump as he was talking to Leo.
The confusing exchange, described by Perry as "a bizarre moment" was all captured on video and has to be seen to be believed.
