Fernando Lafuenta has signed for a new soccer team, after a dramatic departure from Ballybrack FC.
The Dublin club claimed the Spaniard had died in a car crash, in order to postpone a game against Arklow Town, last November.
According to Dublin Live, Lafuente has now joined Colga FC in County Galway.
The 29-year-old says all the media coverage from the hoax story has "made me more alive than ever".
