The man was discovered in Hoey's Lane, Dundalk.
Gardaí are investigating a suspected acid attack on a man in his 30s in Co. Louth.
The victim was discovered Hoey's Lane in Dundalk with minor burns just before 9pm yesterday evening.
He is currently being treated in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital - his injuries are not life-threatening.
The scene of the attack has been sealed off and Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
